Pandora Sykes is an author, journalist and broadcaster. A former editor at The Sunday Times Style, she has written for The Guardian, The Evening Standard, Vogue, ELLE, Porter, GQ and Grazia, and published two books, The Sunday Times bestselling essay collection, How Do We Know We're Doing It Right? and an anthology, edited by Pandora in aid of The National Literacy Trust, What Writers Read: 35 Writers on Their Favourite Book. Her culture newsletter on Substack, Books+Bits, publishes to 70,000 readers. 
 
Pandora is best known for her No.1 podcasts and audio documentaries. The co-creator and co-host of the culture-shaping The High Low (which went out to 1.2 million listeners) and the interview podcast, Doing It Right, she has written two audio documentaries for Radio 4, Pieces of Britney and along with Sirin Kale, Unreal: A Critical History of Reality TV (the latter of which she was also an executive producer on). Both were Times, Guardian and Apple podcasts of the year. She was the host of The Missing for 8 seasons and has hosted companion podcasts for Disney+ (on Jilly Cooper’s Rivals) and Universal Pictures/ Sony (on Bridget Jones.) 
 
A regular interviewer and panel moderator, Pandora has been live on stage with authors including Bernadine Evaristo and Margaret Atwood and was a judge on the 2022 Women’s Prize for Fiction. She has hosted live events for clients including Netflix, Universal Pictures, The Royal Academy, Sky TV, Paramount Plus and various arts festivals. She is a campaigner for children for The NSPCC.
